Ray Lopez is the owner of Scottsdale Weed Control & Fertilization, LLC. Before graduating from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Ray worked as the Assistant Agronomist for J. A. Wood Company in Scottsdale. He then became a Sales Representative for Kerley Ag in Fresno, California, where he specialized in herbicides, fertilizers, and lawn services. He has owned and operated Scottsdale Weed Control & Fertilization, LLC. for the past 25 years.

Petra is Ray’s wife and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She works full-time as an Office Manager for SWC and is a mother to their 9 children.

Jacob and Isaac are Ray and Petra’s two oldest sons.  Jacob graduated high school with honors in 2023 and has been working for the family business since.  Isaac graduated in 2024 and is working in the field with Ray and Jacob.  He is also currently working toward his EMT and will graduate the program in May 2025.
